As we begin to turn the page on the recognition of 20 year’s since Pat lived, we are paying tribute to the impacts of Pat’s legacy in different chapters of his life. As a standout for the Arizona Sun Devils and as the 226th pick in the NFL Draft to the Arizona Cardinals turned All-Pro, Pat’s grit and passion catapulted him to new heights. At the peak of his NFL career, he made the selfless decision to leave that all behind and enlist into the Army Rangers, answering the calling for something bigger than himself.
His legacy continues to be carried forward by the nearly 1,000 Tillman Scholars that carry his torch of Scholarship, Humble Leadership, Service, and Impact. Participation in the 21st Annual Pat’s Run directly supports this living legacy, ushering in the next generation of leaders rooted in the values Pat exemplified in these eras. Join the nearly 30,000 runners and walkers and be apart of shaping the next era of the Pat Tillman legacy.

April 12, 2025 is race day! Arrive early! Wheelchair participants begin at 7 a.m., and the 4.2 Mile Run / Walk begins at 7:05 a.m. The Kids’ Run starts at 10 a.m.
The Course
Pat’s Run is a 4.2 Mile Run/Walk that winds through the streets of Tempe ending inside Sun Devil Stadium.

Join Downtown Tempe Authority the 2nd Sunday in November, January, February and April from 10 AM to 3 PM for an outdoor market, live music and entertainment, snack vendors, and plenty of fun for the whole family. The outdoor market lines Mill Avenue between 3rd St. and University and features homemade goods and gifts from Arizona local artisans, crafters, and makers. The event is FREE admission, family-friendly, and dog friendly.

Get ready for the Downtown Tempe Barber Battle, a high-energy, bracket-style competition where local barbers go head-to-head in categories like Mullet, Fade, and Freestyle! This exciting showdown will be showcased at each 2nd Sundays on Mill leading up to the Semifinals and Finals at the 2025 Juneteenth Block Party:
